While most of them keep it under wraps, a recent sighting revealed Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli rocking a pair of unreleased Apple earbuds worth Rs 20,000.
In a recent event that has left Indian tech enthusiasts buzzing with excitement, cricket legend Virat Kohli was spotted flaunting a pair of high-end Apple earbuds worth a staggering Rs 20,000. However, here’s the catch – these exclusive earbuds are not yet available in India.
The video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) captured the moment when Joshua Da Silva’s mother met the Indian cricket superstar. While the emotional encounter touched the hearts of many, tech-savvy viewers couldn’t help but notice the stylish accessory adorning Kohli’s ears.
The earbuds, known as Beats Powerbeats Pro TWS, are not your typical AirPods or AirPods Pro. Apple acquired Beats Music and Beats Electronics in 2014 for a whopping $3 billion, making Beats a popular audio brand worldwide. However, Beats products are yet to make an official debut in the Indian market.
Although some Beats TWS earbuds and headphones are available at select Apple Imagine stores and a few e-commerce websites, the highly sought-after Powerbeats Pro TWS earbuds worn by Kohli remain elusive to Indian consumers. Indian fans eager to get their hands on the cutting-edge audio gear are still left waiting.
Notably, the Powerbeats Pro TWS earbuds offer premium features, including active noise cancellation and support for Apple’s Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos format, promising an unparalleled listening experience.
While these exclusive earbuds are not accessible through Apple’s official channels in India, tech enthusiasts can find them on Amazon India’s website, albeit at a premium price of Rs 31,500. Despite their availability on certain online platforms, the Beats Powerbeats Pro TWS earbuds are currently listed as “unavailable” on Flipkart.
In the United States, these coveted earbuds are widely available for purchase on Apple.com, in Apple Stores, Amazon, and other retailers, priced at $249.95. The Powerbeats Pro first made its debut in 2018, and Apple unveiled the latest version of the TWS earbuds in November 2022.
